Michelle’s place was a fantastic getaway! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property had plenty of activities and things to do, which made the experience even more fun and memorable. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Michelle was very responsive, helpful, and a wonderful host throughout our stay. I highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a relaxing cottage destination.

We had a great time at Michelle’s place. It’s very kids friendly with the little beach area and all the kayaking and paddling facilities.
The kitchen has all facilities for cooking and the bbq equipment is great!
We enjoyed the sunset s’more time with the children as well.

Stayed With Kids - July 2026
Our stay at Solace on Stoney was fantastic. We spent our week enjoying time in the water - kayaking in the bay, cruising and fishing on our boat. Lots of outdoor seating options were available and outdoor games were also provided. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck for morning coffee, having our dinners and watching the sunset in the evening. Solace’s location is picturesque and peaceful. Both Michelle and Maddie were excellent hosts who reached out/checked in and responded prior to, during and following our week’s stay. We would highly recommend staying here.

Michelle’s place was super beautiful, and looked even nicer than the photos! First thing we noticed was how much bigger it was than the photos made it seem - more than enough room to fit our extended family of 10. The second thing we noticed was how beautiful the scenery was - the dock is perfect, and Michelle has the cabin well stocked with kayaks, life jackets, and other outdoor toys. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean. The kitchen had all the home-away-from home amenities, including amazing kitchen utensils, mixing bowls, baking sheets, etc. The oven is brand new and easy to use. The bedrooms were cozy, extremely comfortable beds and nice linens and pillows. Shampoo, body wash and conditioner were even stocked in the bathroom. Really everything you could want for a lovely week at the cottage!

Stayed A Few Nights - July 2026
Michelle's cottage is lovely. It is newly done, very clean and with earthy tones which gives it a peaceful vibe. It was stocked with everything you could need.
The sandy beach was great for the younger kids. It was weedy by the shore but we used the paddle board to take us out further to swim. Stoney Lake is beautiful.
Bonuses: I really loved the bins with beach towels, outdoor blankets and other supplies for the outdoors. Also, the welcome basket was a great surprise!
We would definitely love to stay again next year. Thanks again Michelle.

Had a great time and were able to find everything that we needed. We went fishing, swimming, snorkelling, kayaking, tubing, and jet skiing. Plus, we played the lawn games and had quality family time.

Stayed With A Pet - August 2026
We had a group of 10 of us stay at Michelle's place for 4 nights. We were a bit worried about the size and only having 2 bathrooms, but had absolutely no issues. The cottage was perfect and everyone in the family felt right at home.
Here's a list of what we loved about the place:
- Both owner, Michelle, and property manager, Madison, were awesome. Very responsive, helping us with critical needs such as getting the World Cup on TV and running over an emergency corkscrew. Great layout: kitchen->living room->deck all open to each other, which made socializing easy
- Cozy bedrooms with nice beds
- The supplied kayaks and paddleboard were a big hit and were used daily
- The cottage felt newly renovated, was beautiful and clean!
- Only thing to be aware of is the fact that South Bay is a bit weedy near the shoreline and fairly shallow. We swam with no issues but best to go out a bit from the shoreline.
All in all, wonderful stay and would gladly book again.
Wonderful Waterfront Stay - October 2025
We had an amazing time at this beautiful waterfront property. The home was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly set up for a relaxing stay. The views from both the lounge and bedrooms were stunning.
We loved sitting outside by the fire, both during the day and at night — such a peaceful spot to unwind.
Michelle was absolutely lovely. She greeted us warmly on arrival with delicious homemade cookies and gave us a quick tour of the place to make sure we had everything we needed. She stayed in touch throughout our stay and was very responsive whenever we had a question.
Overall, it was a perfect stay — cozy, scenic, and hosted by someone who truly cares about her guests. We’d love to come back again!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! We had such a great time. The place is gorgeous, spotless, and was perfect for our weekend getaway. Michelle was an absolute delight, so kind, responsive, and thoughtful. She made sure we were all set for our long weekend and even took the time to greet us and say goodbye. No words can describe how wonderful this experience was. We highly recommend Michelle’s place and will definitely be telling everyone we know to stay here!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Everything about Michelle’s cottage was top notch — spotless, beautifully designed, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. We had a larger group of 9 of us to celebrate a friend’s birthday and I couldn’t have imagined a better place to stay. So many rooms and beds were available, and everyone felt comfortable.
Kayaks were available for a morning paddle to see the beautiful surrounding scenery.
Michelle went above and beyond with amazing communication from start to finish, always quick to respond and super friendly. We were especially touched by the thoughtful welcome gift — such a warm and personal touch that made us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend!
